What is the value of advertising with Yakedi?
Yakedi offers an efficient and cost-effective way to reach active, savvy, web & mobile users. Targeted advertising is by nature an efficient way to market. Marketers can reach the decision makers with greater impact and efficiency. A user who is actively involved with quality content, quality sites & have specified their specific interests, is a more qualified lead, and is more likely to convert to a customer.

How do you sell banner advertising?
We sell banners by cpm (cost per thousand) ad impressions served. Every time a banner appears on a page, this is counted as one ad impression. Some sections have different cpm rates and larger banner sizes incur a loading.

How long should my campaign last?
This will depend on the size of your media budget and the objectives of your online campaign. When buying online media, you should consider how many impressions are generated on the site or sites in which you want to place an ad. For example, Yakedi generates an average of two million page impressions per month.

Can we buy email or phone number lists?
Unfortunately we do not sell email, or mobile number lists. We are firm believers that our users data, is their own & don't believe our users would appreciate offers sent to their private email or cell number details.

Where do I find banner specifications?
Your Yakedi Sales Champ will provide you with detailed banner specifications prior to your campaign launch.

How can I find out traffic and demographic information for your site?
Contact your Sales Champ to request a Media Kit from our Sales Department. If you dont have a Contact at Yakedi, contact support to request with an advertising sales inquiry here

How long will it take to get my ads online?
We do our best to maintain a maximum of 24 hour turn around, though ads are usually places much sooner. If your campaign is of an urgent nature, feel free to contact us and we will do our best to assist immediately.

Billing

Can I pay by cheque, or money order?
Yes, you can pay using these methods, however it is usually faster to pay by credit card or bank transfer. Please note that if you pay by check, your account will not be activated until the check has cleared.

What type of reports can I see?
Each month your Yakedi Sales Champ will provide a full Performance Summary and Billing Transaction Report. The Performance Summary report allows an advertiser to view clicks and charges and compare them against targets. Billing Transactions will display by time frame, all transactions that occurred on an account. Our Account Executives ensure that each month they work with you to optimise both your Click Through Ratio and unique user impressions.

 

Account Activity

Can I take my account offline temporarily?
Absolutely. Please contact your Yakedi Sales Champ for any account suspension requests.

What does it mean when my account goes offline?
It means that your adverts will not be shown whilst the Yakedi community is using this website, the account would also not be charged for impressions.

What happens if someone keeps clicking on my listing?
Yakedi does not charge its advertisers based on Clicks, so multiple clicks from users are a non-issue. We feel that akin to all other traditional forms of advertising, CPM (Impressions), is the fairest method by which our customers can reach their desired audience. It is also transparent, causing no concern for unwanted clicks (or expense).
